One to Many Distribution
One-to-many distribution is where one location distributes goods to many locations.
For example, a factory may produce finished weighing scales that are used in food production. Once it has taken several orders for the scales, it would load them into a truck (or several trucks) and deliver them to various food factories.
This would involve some logistics planning. For instance, it would be important that the vehicle takes the most efficient route. The order in which deliveries are made should follow a logical route around the road map, taking in a whole locality at a time, rather than having to revisit these localities. This requirement needs to be balanced against any pre-arranged timed deliveries and urgent requests from customers.
